Economy can be divided into 3 phases: 1. Factor Driven: These are dominated by natural resources and unskilled labor like agriculture. 2. Efficiency Driven: These economies become competitive in terms of product quality and efficiency. 3. Innovation Driven: Business are more knowledge intensive.
